Giveaway: The Book of Life by @DebHarkness

We are just weeks away from the release of The Book of Life, book 3 in the All Souls Trilogy. I have already read my advance copy, but I'm not allowed to share my review until July 15. However, I will say I don't think fans will be disappointed.

Did you miss the giveaway I did a few weeks ago for the holographic buttons and Diana's commonplace book? Well, here is your second chance and the publisher has sweetened the pot to include a hardcover copy of The Book of Life. That's right, you have a chance to win a prize pack that include the buttons, Diana's commonplace book and a hardcover copy of The Book of Life.

I'll have a few more goodies to share in the lead up to the July 15 release including a Q&A with Deborah Harkness herself. And if you haven't started this series, what are you waiting for? Pick up The Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night today.

  1. I love the historical setting in the second book and how important historical figures are shown as friends.

I tore through the first two books not long ago and I can't wait for The Book of Life!

  5. I just started this series, so I don't quite have a favorite character, but I can already tell that this is going to be a series of books that I will love forever. Sometimes you just know. :)

  9. My favorite scene is from ADOW when Matthew walks back into the Library and Diane feel snow across her back. I was officially in love with Matthew and the book at that point. I just want an HEA with out too many lives lost.

  12. I love everything about these books, but one of my favorite scenes is when Diana promises Phillipe that she will find a way to be with him in the darkness. I cannot wait to read the Book of Life and see how it all resolves!

  14. One of my favorite characters Christopher Marlow. I know you're like, WHAT? But I love that character you just have to despise and really nothing quite vindicates him no matter what. My favorite moment really hard but I think the bundling as having an amazing talk with your significant other really is the most intimate moments you can have in a relationship. Deb really hit that moment in the book for me.

  15. My favorite scene is with Diana and Phillipe before they leave Sept Tours. It is such a tender and loving moment. Deb integrates acceptance of others into that scene so well and all throughout the series. She is definitely a weaver of words in her own right !! I hope to find out in The Book of Life the origins of all creatures and how Deb has interwoven the science and humanity of each of the creatures into her final trilogy book !!!

  17. My favorite chapters are Ch. 30 in A Discovery of Witches where we are introduced to Baldwin Montclair and the entire Sept-Tours section of Shadow of Night where we meet and explore the mastermind that is Philippe de Clermont.
