If you remember the Get Lost Lodge, then good for you. The Keller family is tight-knit and lots of fun. Grayson had gotten the lodge after a divorce, and finds it hard to get romantically involved with anyone because it hadn't gone as expected. Charlie's mother is an actress, and her late father was a famous singer. She is sensitive to the drama that came after a video of her being told her mother was planning to do a reality show without asking her, and now she's hiding. She and Grayson have an immediate attraction and get along well, and she gets along with his family. The Kellers and the town are all friendly and caring in the ways of the best small town stories, which Charlie really missed in her chaotic upbringing with an actress mother. Of course, the two get closer and care about each other before the rest of the world comes crashing in.
I enjoyed seeing the couple get closer and discover what they wanted for themselves as well as in a couple. They get along very well, and the extended family folded Charlie into the love and care that she needed. She doesn't have to run away from painful emotions, and the risk of being together was worth the reward.
