This exciting thriller will keep readers turning pages long into the night.  It’s full of twists and turns, and just when you think you have it all figured out, the plot changes and you realize how wrong you were.  The book keeps you engaged to the very satisfying ending.  Wow!

Brooklyn, her husband Trey, and their two children are headed on a surprise trip to Italy during Christmas vacation.  At a layover in Atlanta, Trey leaves his family to use the bathroom and never returns.  While searching for her husband, the family misses their connecting flight, and Brooklyn’s life as she knows it goes into total chaos.  While searching for her husband, Brooklyn meets Eden, who claims that she is the sister of Trey’s first wife, who had been murdered ten years earlier, and that Trey was a suspect in the murder.  When Brooklyn has a life-threatening accident, Eden takes care of the kids until Brooklyn’s sister arrives.  Is anyone who they claim to be?  Who is Trey – did he really murder his first wife, and why has he disappeared?  Who is Eden – is she telling the truth, or does her story seem too contrived?  Who can the reader trust?  I can’t give you any more information without the chance of a spoiler, but trust me – this is a book that you don’t want to miss.

The story is told from various points of view, and several are very unreliable narrators.  It’s impossible to know who to trust, so you probably are better off trusting no one.  Just keep turning pages and stay on the roller coaster ride until the end, when it will all finally make sense with the very satisfying ending.  Definitely my favorite book by this author!!
