Come What Maybe by Kerri Carpenter ~ a Review

by Susan Roberts

Kerri Carpenter is a new author for me and I really enjoyed this small-town romance.  Come What Maybe is the first book of a new series and I can't wait to read what happens in the future books.  The series is going to follow the lives of three sisters who were raised by a feisty grandmother in the small town of Seaside Cove.  This book is the oldest sister Lauren's story.

Station Eternity by Mur Lafferty ~ a Review

by Donna Huber

Mallory Viridian seems to attract murder wherever she goes. She has an almost psychic ability to recall details and make connections at the murder scenes - often leading to her being suspect number 1. Tired of all the deaths she cannot stop, she jumps at the chance to board an alien space station.   Another human - one who was supposed to have been murdered at a party Mallory was attending - pilots a space shuttle that is often docked at Station Eternity. With no other humans around the deaths stop and Mallory lives a relatively quiet life. However, when a human transport is scheduled to dock with the space station, Mallory is worried. Xan is worried but for an entirely different reason.

The Sound of Light by Sarah Sundin ~ a Review

by Susan Roberts

The Sound of Light
is about the bravery and resilience of the Danish people during WWII as they worked to get Jewish people to safety.  The author has done deep research and it shows on every page.  The characters she's created are very likable people who want to help other people despite the personal danger.
