2 Christmas Romance Novels to Kick Off the Holiday Season

by Donna Huber

Have you started on your Christmas reading list? I've seen people on social media requesting recommendations of books to read for Christmas. Before I was a book reviewer, I was strict about not starting Christmas books until after Thanksgiving dinner. But since they start coming out in September, I've been a little more relaxed on that, though I still have a long list of ones to start reading Thursday evening. Whether you are just starting to build your list or you are ready to start the binge reading, you don't want to miss these two books.

by Donna Huber

Today we are kicking off our 25 Days of Christmas Reading. We did this last year and it was a lot of fun. Each day we will feature reading recommendations, free ebooks, or some other festive goodies. If you aren't into reading Christmas books, we will still have reviews of new and recent releases throughout the month.

As we have been reviewing Christmas books since September, today is a round-up of some of them since you might not have been thinking of Christmas at the time.

For two months out of the year, Daphne Noelle got to live her dream of owning a bakery. Her little pop-up bake shop—one that looked just like a gingerbread house—brought joy to every customer who stopped by to enjoy her sweet treats. She loved meeting people and making them smile, and being in such a festive setting every day was just the icing on the cake! For the last three years, everything had gone smoothly, but this year, there was one guy who was determined to ruin it all.

Celebrate Freedom With Free Reads

by Donna Huber

While not everything is rosy right now in the great U.S.A, we still have it better than a lot of the world. We enjoy a vast number of freedoms; freedoms we often take for granted. Today, as we (in the U.S.) celebrate our independence and freedoms that have been hard won, I want to focus on a freedom we somwtimes take for granted: the freedom to read and the free exchange of ideas.
