Everything We Found is the continuation of a series that we thought concluded in 2018! Check out my reviews of the first 3 books (you'll want to read them first for maximum enjoyment of this book).  This book is a real page turner full of retribution and murder mixed with a lifelong love that has never been expressed.  The real question is, will the two main characters live long enough to share their real feelings for each other?

The Story

Nadia is an architect at the top of her game.  She has two good friends who mean the world to her and a career that fulfills her.  But something is missing, and she realizes that it’s Thomas, and she has been avoiding him for years because of the memories that he brings to light.  She has been in love with Thomas for her whole life.  He rescued her from problems when she was a child, but when he asked her to keep a secret that would change their lives, she decided that she didn’t want anything to do with him – plus her best friends hate him.  But now he wants her back in his life, and when she goes to talk to him, she gets caught up in a gunfight that is retribution for Thomas and his family from a Mexican cartel.  As Nadia flees with him to try to find safety, she begins to realize how really important he is to her. With time running out and nowhere to hide, will their love heal what darkness broke in them all those years ago, or will it shatter them forever?

The Recommendation

This book is a real page-turner filled with violence, secrets, and romance.  Sounds like a strange mix, but it all works together perfectly.  Nadia had to learn to trust and realize the reasons for Thomas’s lies in the past, and Thomas had to learn that he didn’t have to risk his life to take care of his family, and they both had to learn that there may be a happily ever after waiting for them ----if only they can survive all of the violence and bloodshed that is going on around them.  Once I started this book, I didn’t put it down until it ended – it was that great!
