Some of my favorite childhood memories are of sitting on my mom's lap while she read to me. Reading to children is important for their own literacy development but it also creates a bond between the reader and the one being read to. I loved reading with my niece and nephew when they were little. If you are looking for a book or two to share with the kid(s) in your life, here are some of my recommendations.
