Boneyard Key, Florida, is the only home Sophie has ever known. She runs the town's only ghost tour, and has for years. Tristan is the son of a Fortune 500 businessman and created a multicity ghost tour conglomerate. If he can’t prove to his father that he’s doing well by fall, his father will pull his funding. The two tours clash, and Sophie's expletive-filled rant goes viral. They soon strike a deal: whoever has the most successful business by summer’s end stays, while the loser must ghost. The more they spend time around each other and compete, the more they see positive sides in each other. Can there be two ghost tours in one town?

Ghost Business is the second Boneyard Key novel, but you don't need to have read Haunted Ever After first. It's just a fun cameo if you know Cassie and Nick's story, but this one is all Sophie.
She came to the area as a child and has always feared that people will leave. Having a time limit for Tristan adds to the emotional hurt she gets. For his part, Tristan goes through town and eventually meets people, makes friends, and gets to know what life is like in town. It's not something he was ever known before, and the life his father intends for him doesn't appeal. Of course, the two grow closer and get to see not just their competitive side, but the fun parts, too.
This is a lovely romance with a fitting happily-ever-after.
